Maia loves the Amelia Bedelia books. In one of the books Amelia Bedelia's job is on the line but is saved when she surprises Mr. & Mrs. Rogers with a delicious lemon meringue pie. Maia insisted we make a lemon meringue pie. So we did.
Maia loved that we used marbles to set the pie crust.
It turned out pretty good but I don't think Maia liked the taste as much as she thought she would. We still had fun making it.
